Gigabyte X11 Review
If we have heard about some thinnest laptops then this is the lightest laptop you might ever seen. Sound exaggerating? I guess not so. If Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon has previously claimed to be the lightest ultrabook, wights for just 1.4 kg then it Gygabite has broken the record by its new laptop called Gigabyte X11 that weights just 0.9kg (975grams). The Gigabyte X11 will have an impressive LED-backlit LCD display of 11.6 inch with 1366×768 pixels of resolution.
In spite of its light weight, made of carbon fiber, Gigabyte X11 has a great specifications inside too. It’s powered by third-generation Intel Core processors, it will come with a 128GB SSD, 4GB of RAM, USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. The ultrabook also equipped with a 1.3-megapixel webcam too. A Li-Polymer battery of 4730mAh which has a capability of being used in average of 5 to 6 hours in normal use.
Gigabyte X11 Ultrabook will run with Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit operating system.
Gigabyte X11 price and release date
The Ultrabook is expected to cost $999 – $1,299 depending on spec and be available in July.
UPRDATE: Gigabyte has now confirmed the laptop, officially launching it in Taipei.
