To compete against the likes of the MacBook Air and the Samsung 9 Series laptop, Lenovo ThinkPad upcoming X1 ultraportable to do something a little different. According to the leaked PDF, this difference seems to be a new battery tech called RapidCharge.

Compared with the previous ThinkPad batteries, Lenovo claims that the X1 RapidCharge version will last three times as long. In addition, the battery will charge up to 80 percent capacity in just 30 minutes (working out for charging 2.5 times as fast as the older ThinkPad batteries). The bad news is that the X1 battery will be sealed, which means that it will not be able to replace the battery yourself.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 is worth around $2,920.
