LG D1L Rumor
We have discussed earlier about rumor of Samsung Galaxy S III that according to our sources will feature Android 4.0 ICS and 4G connectivity. To answer this challenge, Samsung is getting ready to launch it new product which will features more or less the same with Samsung Galaxy S III, called LG D1L .
LG D1L Specifications
According to recent rumors, LG D1L will feature 4.7-inch LCD screen that run on native 1280 x 720 pixels (there will be none of this is madness 3D Screen LG tried – with limited success – to push in recent years). The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 SPC, which makes use of 1.5GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A15-based CPU – CPU is probably the best smartphone currently available. Of course, on top of the impressive hardware, D1L LG will launch the newest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich.
LG D1L Release date
LG D1L, expected to be released in May 2012, is touted as an LTE-compatible, which means it will probably come to the USA and LG’s native South Korea first, while common sense dictates that a 3G HSPA + D1L version will be published in European markets, as well as towards the end of Q2 2012th
All in all, while the rumored specs for the LG D1L are pretty decent, I’m willing to bet that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will sell many times more units, only the inertia of the Galaxy series sama.D1L will be more as an alternative to the HTC one, but serious threat to the S3.
