Samsung has confirmed that the company will market Samsung NC215S which is a solar-powered netbook in the United States and Africa and Russia, but Indonesia is not yet known information. Samsung will be available in the U.S. on the week of July 3 at $ 499.
Samsung NC215S models sold in America has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixels matte, 1GB of RAM, and dual-core processor 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N570. The main key features of the other netbook from a solar cell is built into the cover. Graphics capabilities of this netbook rely GMA 3150 integrated.

In ideal conditions the Samsung says you’ll also be able to get about 14.5 hours of battery life of netbooks by adding extra power from solar power.
