Samsung Series 7 – New Ivy Bridge Gaming Laptop Specifications
Samsung Series 7
If Asus has some gaming laptop such as Asus G75, Asus G75v, and Asus G55vw, its time for Samsung to annouce its new gaming laptop, which is Samsung Series 7. Samsung has just made its first massive gaming laptop available in the United States.
Samsung Series 7 Gamer, powered by a quad-core, 2.30GHz Intel Core i7-3610QM processors, 17.3-inch next-generation full HD (1920×1080) high-resolution LCD display features Samsung SuperBright(TM) technology, for a brilliant 400-nit screen (up to 50% brighter than traditional PCs) and a stunning range of color (up to 16 million), and a discrete Nvidia GeForce GTX 675M graphics card with 2GB of VRAM.
Unfortunately that’s not one of Nvidia’s new 28nm Kepler cards, but battery life probably wasn’t in the front of Samsung’s mind when outfitting this laptop. Apparently weight wasn’t much of a consideration, either — it comes in at a hefty 8.39 pounds. Rounding out the specs are 16GB of RAM, a Blu-ray reader, and a 1.5TB hard drive with 8GB of flash memory for speedy boot times.
Samsung Series 7 Price
If you’re interested, Samsung says the Series 7 Gamer is available now from Amazon, Newegg, and TigerDirect for $1,899.99, but for the record we don’t see the product on any of those sites just yet
